The client’s requirements were to create a comfortable family sitting area, and at the same time to keep the lawn area as large as possible.

Travertine slabs were used for the paved area, with a couple of benches created and clad by timber, a built in barbeque with raised planters from blocks and plastered, were planted with a low maintenance planting scheme for scent and colour. A solid fence was erected around the perimeter to create privacy.
